Amazing!
We had the distinct pleasure in having Jemma walk us through the process of buying our property in the Haute-Vienne. Good things come to those who wait
Our review is perhaps slightly different from the majority as we were already settled home owners of 10 years in France in search of a new venture which through no particular fault on any part took 2 years and two attempts to realise on the property.
Through-out this time our agent Maggie was exemplary in managing communications between buyers and sellers, keeping everything calm and cordial with a fair and even minded approach which was sympathetic
to both sides ( no mean task over such a long period of time).
When the stars eventually aligned and we were able to finally sign the CDV the whole process was seamless and the purchase completed in 10 weeks which was remarkable considering it was right at the start of the infamous 10 week French summer holiday shutdown.
All in all a great experience all thanks to an Agent prepared to go the extra mile.

Managing expectations
I found that Lisa was not very responsive to my queries and when the house had sold and I was waiting for the money she was not helpful at all. I am in the UK and the house was in France but it took nearly 2 weeks to get the money because there was an issue with the notaires office which I feel could have been managed by Lisa if she had helped me as I do not speak French. Lisa's response was just that they have their own process but she had told me it would be 24-48 hours. Therefore the time delay caused undue stress and anxiety for both myself and my 90 year old mother (who has dementia) who was selling the house. I feel that if she had spoken to the notaries office sooner then the issue would have been resolved.
I am also aware that my brother had issues with her from the beginning and not keeping up to date when we wanted to reduce the price etc so I feel that we lost potential buyers as the price was not reduced on the website in a timely manner.
