Best Real Estate Agents Ever
Cynthia and Yann Maagdenberg are the best real estate agents we have ever encountered. They were with us every single step of the way during the buying process, answering all our questions (and we had many, many questions), and working tirelessly to provide information about the house. They showed the house to us multiple times through virtual tours and checked to make sure everything was in working order, again answering every single question we had in full. They also referred us to helpful websites and resources and shared their own excellent buyers guide on home buying in France. Once we had made the offer, they coordinated effortlessly with the seller, the seller’s notary, our notary, and our mortgage broker. They speak multiple languages and navigated between our English and the seller’s French. Cynthia and Yann were also incredibly helpful in referring us to an English-speaking notary, firms that could help with money transfers, people who help set up home insurance and transfer electricity, WIFI/television, and water. They even arranged to have the keys transferred once the sale of the house was complete. Even more impressive, they did all this virtually as the entire buying process was conducted through email, WhatsApp, and virtual signing. Cynthia and Yann are professional, hard-working, ethical, and gracious. We felt supported by them at every turn as they were always transparent, clear, and ready to explain anything that we were unsure about. The have incredible patience for those not familiar with the buying process in France and advocated on our behalf with the seller. We would recommend them to anyone considering buying a property in France and are happy to be contacted directly if interested buyers would like a reference on their exceptional service.
